Article Marketing or Pay Per Click: Which Is Best?

Article marketing and PPC (pay-per-click) advertising are the two main methods of online marketing. Both are dependent on strong keywords and dispersal to be most effective in driving traffic to your site.

What is Article Marketing?

Article marketing is the principle of contributing content to article directories which then links back to your website. It also includes guest blogging. These articles create back links to your site, which helps to boost your ranking in search engines.

The keywords you include will also affect your search engine ranking. Including strong keywords in your title, first paragraph, and last paragraph is most effective. However, you should always write for entertaining, informative, and readable content over keywords.

Articles should be about topics related to your website and should provide the reader with some information that he or she didn't know. It should also make them want to click through the link to your page. Leave them wanting just a little bit more than you've told them, and include a clear call to action.

What is PPC?

In pay-per-click, you sponsor a link at a search engine and pay a fee to the provider every time your link is clicked. Sponsored links are clearly labeled for the purposes of full disclosure. The best known provider of PPC is Google AdWords, though Bing Adcenter (a Yahoo! and Microsoft joint venture) is also popular.

The downside to PPC is that the top keywords are often fairly expensive. This is because competition is high, and the usual bid model drives up the price. Everyone who wants to purchase a certain keyword places a bid for how much they are willing to pay. Then, when someone searches for that word, the highest bid wins and that advertiser is displayed. Often, multiple ad spots are available. In this case, they are displayed in the order from highest bidder down.
This makes choosing the right balance of keywords and cost something of an art. It requires you to be very attentive to your analytics so you can drop the keywords which just aren't bringing in revenue.

PPC ads appear not only on search engines, but on third-party websites which have partnered with the PPC provider. These are called contextual ads because the ads which are displayed are chosen on the basis of relevance to the site, according to keyword similarity. So, for example, a horse stable's website might display ads for tack or veterinary equipment.

Effectiveness

PPC effectiveness is fairly easy to track. By adding code to your URLs, you can easily see the conversion rates - that is, the number of people who click your ad who become customers or regular visitors - for each campaign, keyword, and specific ad copy. Google AdWords provides you with many tools to help you track your PPC, and your blogging platform may do so as well.

It's a good idea to create discrete campaigns for each keyword for this reason. That way, you will be able to compare the effectiveness of each keyword on its own. To evaluate your ad copy, create at least two ads for each keyword. If one performs particularly well or particularly poorly, you should be able to figure out what the difference is.

Regularly check your analytics so you aren't wasting money. You can tweak your current ads or create new ones to make them stronger, based on your feedback.

Articles of 400 to 600 words, broken into short paragraphs, have been found to be most effective. They're easy to get through and deliver the information concisely without a lot of filler.

Another thing about articles that can't be said of PPC is that your readers have the ability to share what they find interesting, either by linking to social media or emailing to others. As advertising for your site, this is some of the best, because it comes with a personal recommendation. You are seen as a professional, trusted source, which builds loyalty and reputation, both of which are essential for online marketing.

This is why compelling content and saying something new is so important. It's why you have to keep in mind your human readers and not just keywords and positioning.

Cost and Return on Investment

Article marketing is essentially cost-free to you, unless you pay someone to write for you.PPC, especially for top keywords, can become pricey. You need to set yourself a firm budget and stick to it. To calculate your return on investment (ROI) for PPC, consider your profit margin, sales volume, and conversion rate.

Profit margin is the amount that you make from each sale after costs have been covered. If you're not selling a product but using advertising on your site to generate income, then consider the cost of the advertising relative to how much you earn from each ad.

Conversion rate was defined above.
Now look at the formula:
(Number of sales x profit in dollars) / number of visitors = dollar value of each visitor
This is your maximum cost per click which you should not exceed or you will end up losing money on the deal.

Calculating ROI on article marketing is a bit trickier, though you could say that since your investment is essentially zero, even one conversion is a positive ROI. But if you think more about it being your time spent writing and distributing articles, then you can see it's still important to calculate and evaluate.

Review your analytics to see which articles are sending you the most traffic and which are sending the least. Now, you need to look for characteristics which may account for the discrepancy. For example, articles with a strong call to action at the end may be outperforming those which simply taper off.

And, as always, the quality of the content is the most relevant factor.

Longevity

This is another area in which article marketing pulls ahead. Articles can remain relevant for a long time, years in some cases. This doesn't mean that you only have to put up articles once and then sit back while the hits rolls in. you definitely need to continually put out fresh content.

However, if you've got a really quality piece, people will continue to find value in it over more recently composed but less informative or poorly written material.

Conclusion

Ultimately, the determination of whether article marketing or PPC is "better" will come down to your unique situation. For most people, the factors of longevity and return on investment give the edge to article marketing. Many people use both as elements of a well-rounded marketing campaign.

Evaluate your analytics regularly to help you refine and narrow your strategies, throwing more effort into the areas which are bringing you the most traffic, conversion, and financial rewards.

Don't Make The Same Mistakes As Other Affiliate Marketers

Out of the numerous of making money online, many people are embarking on the journey of becoming an affiliate marketer. It is an extremely worthwhile and powerful method to use if you are looking towards setting up an online home based business. Affiliate programs are easy to join, profits are easy to make and commission is paid out on a regular basis. However, there are several pitfalls which need to be avoided if you are to create a successful business. Don't make the same mistakes other affiliate marketers commonly make. Consider and avoid the following three common mistakes.

1. Do not choose the wrong affiliate programs.
You must take time out to do some research instead of just joining the first ones you look at. A lot of people make this mistake in the rush just to get started earning money. This is the "bull in a china shop" approach so try not to get sucked in. Research will be time well spent in the grand scheme of things. Consider promoting products you already have an interest in and knowledge about, then find out about how much demand there actually is for such products.

2. Do not join too many different affiliate programs.
When starting out, people are so keen to get the money coming in that they make the easy mistake of joining too many different programs. Yes, it would be fantastic to have multiple streams of income right from the start, but you will find that your time will be spread too thinly to give each one of them any kind of justice. It is much more sensible to start promoting one (possibly with a fairly high commission rate) concentrating all your efforts into promoting it fully. When you find you are making reasonable profit, you can then start to think about joining other programs. There is no rush - affiliate marketing is going nowhere!

3. Remember to carefully research the credibility of the affiliate programs.
Most people forget to do this important task and it is just so easy to do. Check out the testimonials existing customers have submitted - people are always willing to let you know about their experiences. Do they recommend the products or services offered? Another method of doing this is to look for forums / blogs or discussion boards, where people are usually very honest about their customer service. Positive feedback will prove how reliable, trustworthy and credible the program is.

I hope this article will help you avoid the 3 most common mistakes the new affiliate marketer makes.

Affiliate Success Checklist

Have you struggled to make real money promoting affiliate products? Most people do and many simply give up.

The thing is affiliate marketing can be both simple and very rewarding when done right.

Making money as an affiliate is the easiest way to get started making money online. And if you persist and avoid buying hyped-up products that waste both time and money, you can build a successful Internet business.

I know from experience that affiliate marketing can create a full time income and requires little or no overhead or technical skills.

But affiliate marketing is a business, and like any business it must be built on a solid foundation and requires learning a few new skills.

With that said let me share with you the checklist I used when starting out, the same one I use today.

I am approached daily by people who want me to promote their product or do a joint venture with them.

This is the checklist I use to evaluate those requests.

1. MAKE SURE THE PRODUCT YOU CHOOSE MATCHES YOU

The key is to pursue your main passion first. Once you learn how to promote on the Internet, move on to different products.

Learning the process of marketing will be easier, and more fun, if you are promoting something you know and love.

This is true for two reasons.

First, if you promote something you know about you don't have to learn both the process of marketing and gain product knowledge at the same time.

This can lead to confusion and information overload.

Second, being passionate about a product (or subject) means you will know automatically who will make a good customer and what their interests are --- because they will be like you!

Bonus reason -- it's easier to stay motivated when you are promoting something you believe in!

Getting and staying motivated is a big key in any successful endeavor.

Once you've found a product you want to promote...

2. CHECK IT OUT

The key now is to look for quality. The quality of the products you promote matters greatly.

Here's why...

You are going to build a list of buyers of your product (yes, this can be done as an affiliate) and so those customers need to be happy with you AND the product.

If they are they will buy again. Now you are a trusted friend, advising them about how they can benefit from your recommendation.

Ask yourself this question: is the product or service you are promoting something you would bring to your best friend?

If yes, move ahead.

If not, you may want to keep looking.

3. TALK TO THE PRODUCT OWNER

Here is a radical idea.

You should be able to talk via email to the person who owns the company BEFORE spending your hard earned money and precious time promoting their product.

And I'll go one step further -- that person should be helpful in their reply.

When you can contact the owner, or his or her staff, and get real help and answers you will have found a company that cares about affiliates.

That is what you want.

So now you have chosen a product, feel confident about the quality and have had your questions answered by a real person.

The next step is vital - you need to know how well the product converts.

Conversion simply means that for every 100 people who visit the site a certain number buy something.

So if 100 people visit the site and 5 of them buy that would be a 5% conversion.

For most established products you will promote you can expect this number to range from.5% to about 10%.

Anything higher or lower and you need to be careful about them telling you the truth.

There are MANY variables that effect conversion (I will cover them in an upcoming article) and many ways for you to be lied to, so you need to be careful here.

5. WHAT IS THE COOKIE DURATION?

Most affiliate programs track using 'cookies', small files downloaded to the visitor's computer.

It identifies you as the affiliate so you will be paid the commissions.

You need to know two things about this cookie, that will affect how you market.

How long does it last? (Cookies generally expire after X days)Can it be overwritten?

If a company has a short cookie duration, focus on ads that make the sale now.

If they have a longer cookie duration you can use other, more passive methods. Like encouraging people to get free information to learn more about the product.

You also want to know if the cookie can be overwritten, something called a "last affiliate" policy.

This means the LAST link clicked will get the sale.

So if someone who first learned about product X from you clicks another person's affiliate link to buy that person gets the commission, not you.

This is a common practice in affiliate marketing.

Neither of these factors are necessarily good or bad ( Amazon has an incredibly short cookie but people still make fortunes as affiliates for them), but they are worth knowing.

6. DO YOU EARN 'BACKEND' COMMISSIONS?

Do you get paid when someone you refer buys a second product? It's good, but less common.

The merchant will feel that he or she is doing the work for the second sale so they should not have to pay a commission.

The affiliate will feel that the merchant would never have had that customer if not for them and so they earned the commission.

Both valid points.

Some people won't promote without this. Others look for a middle ground.

You will ultimately have to decide what works best for you.

Some sites even promise "lifetime" commissions where you earn on every sale the customers you send ever make.

7. DO YOU EARN RENEWAL COMMISSIONS?

This is another hotly debated issue that deserves your attention.

While you can't control many of these things, knowing about them gives you the knowledge you need to make wise choices.

The key question to ask is this - if you send someone to a site where they pay a monthly or quarterly fee, do you get paid every time or just once?

8. DO THEY SUPPORT YOU?

Most people don't know how to write ads and create banners or graphics, so the affiliate program should provide these tools as well as some training on how to sell their products.

You should expect reasonable support from an affiliate program, just as you do when you buy a product.

One of the best ways to find an affiliate program is to think about a product you love and visit their site to look for an affiliate program link.

Another option is to visit affiliate program portals like Clickbank, PayDotCom or RapBank. I know there are many others - those just sprung to mind.

There you will find many products that can earn you commissions ranging from 5% to 100%!

Forums are excellent resources to learn what really works because you can often communicate with people promoting a particular product right now. Just Google your interest + forum to see what you come up with!

Here is an additional resource to help you succeed as an affiliate fast.

Allan Gardyne of AssociatePrograms.com. Great advice from a guy who has "been there and done that."

Start by thinking about three programs or products you have been promoting, or want to promote, and see if they qualify for your involvement by using the criteria above.

If so, jump in!

A Simple Way To Make More Affiliate Cash With Less Work

Residual affiliate marketing is having other people, namely affiliates, promote and sell products for the product owner. In order to get this working properly, it is going to take some time to set up and have people follow you in your quest to build the residual element of it. However, for those who are prepared to invest the time and effort to make this work, the pay off afterwards is more than worth it. It is another part of the whole picture of how to affiliate marketing.

Look at it this way.

You decide you want to promote a product that pays a fairly good affiliate commission for minimal work, so you have the option of getting visitors to a site where they buy and you get paid for each individual sale made or, you get visitors to a site that offers an ongoing monthly paid for service where you get paid each month for them being a member of such a site. Both require the same amount of work but one will earn you an ongoing income where as the other will require you to do the same amount of work repeatedly to make each sale. Which would you choose to do?

Obviously the monthly option is the way to go, do the work once, and get paid over and over for it. In principle it is a very simple concept, recommend and promote a repeat purchase service by way of sending interested visitors to the particular website.

If that's how it works, then what's the best way to get going with the residual part of it?

Getting started with residual affiliate marketing comes down to what product or service would you like to promote, and then look closely at the affiliate site that offers the residual benefit. It certainly makes a lot more sense if you're going to get moving on this to do so with the means to generate residual income, and backed by a sound company, who operate the affiliate program, have the necessary tools in place to allow affiliates to move forward by supplying some articles, banners and templates.

Each method, single sale or recurring income both require work to make them happen, you just have to decide if the recurring method is right for you.

If you do feel this is the way to go, some affiliate marketing programs offer a two tier platform whereby you receive a commission for affiliates who join the program via someone who you have already referred, an added bonus for your efforts in getting those visitors on board.

To find out more about residual affiliate marketing and the benefits it can bring, head on over and grab your free copy of Make More Affiliate Commissions, a strategy report for affiliate marketers of all skill levels.

Affiliate Marketing - How to Be Successful in This Game

Are you looking for a viable way to make money in today's suffering economy? Do you enjoy promoting other people's service or product oriented business? Would you be open to being paid a hefty commission for your efforts? Are you knowledgeable about marketing trends? If you answered yes to these questions, you may want to delve into the very lucrative field of affiliate marketing.

But what is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is when a business owner hires a marketing professional to spread the word about their business in exchange for a commission of any sales that the affiliate marketer generates from his/her marketing efforts. For instance, let's say that you're an affiliate marketer for Amazon. Well, you set up a few sites and promote their products. Well, every time someone purchases an Amazon product from your site, you get a referral commission. Amazon makes money, you make money for the referral and the customer gets the product.

Still not persuaded that affiliate marketing works? Consider these stats - according to Forrester Research, a firm located in Massachusetts, an online seller will increase his chances of earning more by 16% annually by using affiliate marketing on top of his existing marketing strategies.

One key factor that is burning the affiliate marketing candle so bright is the shift in consumer buying behavior. Nowadays consumers enjoy shopping via mobile devices like phones and tablets. This growth in e-commerce was almost non-existent a few years ago but now, it makes shopping easy-peasy. Affiliate marketers who employ SMS text advertising, display advertising and other mobile-friendly marketing methods will increase their bottom line figures tremendously.

In a just released report, "Online Holiday Shopping Forecast and Trends," eMarketer has announced the expectation for online shopping to reach $54.47 billion just in this upcoming holiday season! This would be equivalent to a 16.8% increase in sales from 2011 for the period of November and December only and it does not include travel.

Key Factors To Remember

So, if you're a marketer that is interested in playing the affiliate marketing game, you must put in a lot of work and effort to make your commissions. Here are a few strategies you can employ:

Choose partners carefully. Only choose companies that have proven track records for paying their affiliates on time. Make sure they have a solid reputation and have a great product. After all, you won't make any money selling crappy products that don't work.

Review your links regularly. Since you are basically paid an affiliates commission based on the amount of revenue you generate, you must be able to track your sales. As such, it is extremely paramount that you only deal with companies that have a solid affiliate tracking feature in place. In addition, you must regularly review your links and tracking codes so you have a better idea of what marketing method is working and which ones are a bust.

Keep good records. Know which products you're promoting and how you're promoting them. You may also want to use accounting software to help you monitor your income. Then, you can easily spot whether you are being paid properly paid or not.

Keep your content fresh and interesting. As a matter of fact 40% of online buyers are more likely to consummate a sale if they like what they read. Content is a vital key in affiliate marketing. Avoid misleading readers in any way because this will backfire with bad feedback. Keep in mind that Internet users are always on security mode alert for scammers. Your honesty and integrity is going to establish you as a credible and reputable affiliate. And that promotes loyalty, effective Word of Mouth recommendations, repeat sales and more profits.

In conclusion, affiliate marketing is a great way to make money. Since you don't have to create a specific product or service, you aren't limited in your income potential. Just remember that not every product is worthy of your marketing efforts. If you want to find and choose established partners, review your links regularly, keep good records and have fresh and interesting content you should find online affiliate program network for that. One of the reputable affiliate marketing network companies is http://www.Click2Sell.EU which offers products for affiliates to promote and tools how to do it successfully.

Monetizing Your Website: Best Strategies

Many people dream of making money from a website, but have no idea how to go about it. The most common method is through the use of advertising. You are paid whenever a visitor to your site clicks on an ad which is displayed there. Pay-per-view advertising is also used, for which you are paid for each person viewing a page when the ad loads.
If you have an established website, you can take a look at the traffic you're already getting to determine what kinds of advertising are best suited to your current visitors. If you are setting up a website for the purposes of making money, you will go about it a bit differently.
Developing Your Site
If you're e starting a new website, you have a bit of freedom in targeting your audience. You can work backwards to some extent, choosing your advertising approach first and then building a site to support it and pull in visitors.
However, you should stick to topics about which you yourself are excited. You need to have that enthusiasm to keep your site updated and active, and your visitors will soon lose interest if you come across as uninteresting. You don't want to feel like maintaining the site is drudgery; it should be fun.
Choosing the Look
Your website needs to be attractive or you will defeat your purpose. No one wants to stay at a site which looks ugly and is hard to use. By no means should the site look like a page of ads with the content seeming to be an afterthought. Position your ads cleanly to the top, sides, and/or bottom of your page.
Include straightforward navigation on each page so your visitors can easily move forward, back, and to your home page. Use tagging and menus to help them find what they're looking for. Use images and videos to attract the eye and make your visitors want to hang around.
With more and more people using mobile web these days, you should have your site optimized for mobile so your fans can connect with you on the go, too.

If you're serious about making money with your website, you need more than people just visiting your site. You need them to stay and you need them to come back.
Blogging is the most direct way to go about producing content for your site. You should have a coherent topic, rather than being all over the place, unless your unique hook is your writing style. Choose something that you are going to be interested in writing about often and for the foreseeable future. Remember, keep it fun for yourself.
Your posts should go up on a regular schedule. Weekly is best, bi-weekly if you really don't have the time. Monthly is probably too infrequent for you to really develop a strong readership. If you have trouble getting out a weekly or bi-weekly post, consider working with a team or inviting guest bloggers to help you out.
Each post should end with a question. This encourages your visitors to stick around to comment, which makes them feel a part of your community. They are then more likely to come back and to tell their friends.
Search engine crawlers learn to come back more often to sites which update regularly, which will boost your ranking. Use of strong keywords and spreading external links, such as posting to social media when your posts go up, will also help your ranking, which in turn will bring more visitors to your site.
Sharing the Love
In addition to your loyal readers, you want to continually be getting new ones. This means spreading the word about your blog. You will do some of this yourself, but it's even better if your readers tell their friends.
Make it easy for them by including sharing buttons for the most popular social media sites. You can also install a plugin which automatically posts any comments to the commenter's social media page.
Be Patient, Be Organized
While it is possible to make a decent amount of money from a website, it's not something that happens overnight. So don't quit your day job right away. It's going to take some time for you to become established.
Just as with any business, you should have a clear plan about what kinds of advertising you will use, how you will promote your site, and what your goals and expectations are. This will make it much easier for you to visualize what you need to do to achieve those goals.
Schedule your activities, including spending time on marketing, interacting on social media, attending to your site, and reviewing your analytics. You don't have to do all these things every day, but you should do something every day. Make it a habit and you will be rewarded with greater gains.
Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is another frequently used method for making money on your website. Through these programs, you earn a commission when someone makes a purchase through your affiliate link. Affiliate programs exist for many online shopping websites, multi-level marketing organizations, and for various products. A Google search will turn up many possibilities for you to choose from.
Track Your Traffic
It's important for you to understand where your traffic is coming from. This will allow you to determine which of your marketing strategies is most successful, and will enable you to target your advertising more directly. The popular blogging platforms include analytics, and you can always use Google's powerful and customizable free tools to evaluate your site.
You will see how many visits your site has received daily and how those visitors got there. With this information, you will be able to focus your marketing efforts more narrowly to the places where your visitors are actually coming from, and develop improved strategies to attract attention where you haven't been doing as well.
Subscriptions
Another way to make money is to sell subscriptions to a private members area. The content and features there need to be genuinely premium or you're going to be processing a lot of refunds. Don't be greedy, either. Your goal should be to get a large number of subscribers each of whom pays a reasonable amount.
To figure out how much to charge, look at other sites with similar subscriptions to yours and make a judgment call. To encourage people to join, describe your price as a "special rate" or "limited-time discount," even if you don't plan to raise the price. This isn't really deceptive; after all, you could choose to raise the price at any time - but it does make people more likely to take advantage of your program.
Conclusion
It is possible to make money with a website, but it's not particularly easy. You need to be dedicated to keeping the site fresh, with compelling content, and use good marketing techniques to spread the word. Use your analytics to strengthen your approach. Stick to it and you will soon be making money!

Make Money Online Using Affiliate Programs and Ad Space

Today, you will know about the importance of How to Make Money Online Using Affiliate Programs and Ad Space. Here is how:

1. Affiliate Programs. By signing up for affiliate networks, you will get commissions for every sale you make. As a tip for you, prior to joining any affiliate marketing, you have to research about the product you are interested in and that which is related to your website niche. Moreover, try to find out what your online visitors are looking for and that they might purchase. If you start promoting products you are passionate about, it will be easy for you to even make product reviews about them. Your valued readers will thus see how you value the product offers you are advertising that readily meet their needs.

With affiliate marketing, adverts are displayed in various ways: semantically, contextually, or non-intrusively. Many ad network programs focus on ad optimization and targeting using advanced technologies for online support. Advertisers will give you impression-based and high-quality ad services with their inline -, image -, text -, and banner links to promote their goods and services.

Whatever you happened to advertise, each of your products is actually a reflection of the content articles present in your webpages. Hence, continue writing because, as mentioned in my previous posts, articles are the soul of your webpages. Search engines crawl content optimized sites. You just can not go wrong about this major tip.

2. Advertising Space. Considering that you have numerous high-quality and informative articles, you can now invite publishers to advertise on your website. The first thing that they will do is to have something to brag about: how much traffic your site generates each day? If you have regular and thousands of unique visitors each day, advertisers will definitely pay to post their adverts to your site. Of course, you accept only the highest price for posting their ads to your site as if they are bidders.

Furthermore, avoid having a webpage clogged with advertisements. This would only serve as eye sores and readers may be compelled to look for other resources online if you do continue prioritizing earning income from ads primarily. Remember, your most valuable customers and prospects are the ones that will bring money to your site; secondary only in nature is your website's Internet money-making promotional / campaign ads (unless, of course, otherwise specified) here on how to make money online using affiliate programs and ad space.

Aside from your web traffic, you should also consider that your site has the right theme, design and add-ons so that you continue to attract advertisers. Create as many webpage contents as you can. This way, there is a better chance that the more webpages your have, the better you will earn from advertisers.

When you give quality contents based on what you are interested in and passionate doing, there is a big chance you will get a good number of readers and followers for your affiliate programs, products and services.

Having niche site is not an easy task. You have to understand how you can get as many ideas, approaches and techniques to start with. You have to be conscious of your keywords as part of search engine optimization (SEO) and latent semantic indexing (LSI). Also, take note of your grammar, spelling, social media optimization (SMO), and creative visuals for readers.

You should also concern yourself not just about quality, but also, quantity of article posts. Then, you can proceed using user-friendly interface, emotional attachment for your target audience, positive ad sentiment targeting, ad website matching and other motivational approaches on how to make money optimizing your affiliate niche site for your adverts.

2. Dynamic Texts for Ads. Register from ad optimizing affiliate networks that display only good quality semantic and contextual ads in addition to keyword placement, not to mention geo-targeting, attitudinal data collection, ad positioning, ad formatting and a lot of other factors for my next write-ups.

Use dynamic texts customizing your ads for proper keyword and ad matching. Keep in mind how your ad placements will attract visitors to your website, especially if they are non-intrusively positioning among your texts or webpages. Search engine's algorithms determine not just content materials but how ads from other competitors rank well. Although this is not obvious to many, that is how precisely crawlers and spiders work at the background. Choosing which affiliate network campaigns to subscribe with is one of the initial steps optimizing your impression-based ads.

The frequency your ads are displayed is based on impressions. As such, focus on your target market's preferences as a critical approach for you to squeeze money from your webpages. Check your keyword density first before posting your article contents. In case your webpage is ridden with keywords (stuffing), revise your article. This will project an image of good quality contextual / semantic positioning of keywords for your ads.

Nonetheless, you can create ad groups for your keywords intended especially for your ad conversion rate. This would mean a lot to your ad intent and demographics for your ad brands, products, offers and services.

Essentially, dynamic texts apply to any of your contextual ads where search engines bots scan your site. According to search engines' algorithms, a pre-determined priority levels are in place. Keywords from your article contents equate to your ad "visibility." When Internet users type in their search queries, you can guarantee the appearance of your webpages as among the top choices for your target audience.

Now that you have learned about how to make money optimizing your niche site and adverts, it is time for you to apply them to your website.

Affiliate Marketing - Amazing Amazon

Amazon.com is a remarkable company from a number of view points. First and foremost, from an affiliates point of view, it is a godsend, spurring an army of successful affiliates some of whom probably make a very comfortable living by just selling Amazon products. Not only did Amazon pioneer the online retailing as we know it today (perhaps along with eBay), but it survived the terrible dot-com bubble that buried many internet startup companies of that time.

Formed in 1995 by Jeff Bezos its current Chairman, President and CEO, the company quickly gained prominence in the fledgling electronic commerce arena also known as e-commerce or e-comm. Bezos clearly understood the booming potential of the internet at that time and set in motion a plan to monetize it.

At that point, Bezos identified five items which in his mind would sell well over the internet. These consisted of compact discs, computer hardware, computer software, videos and books. However, he eventually concentrated on just selling books and within a space of four months from its launch, Amazon.com had become one of the top ten sites on the internet which went to demonstrated just how great Bezos's idea was.

The dot-com bubble also known as the dot-com boom, the internet bubble and the information technology bubble was a speculative bubble which saw the technology stocks in the world stock markets and in particular on the influential and tech-heavy Nasdaq market on Wall Street, New York, USA soar to new, dizzy heights.

It seemed investors were embracing wholeheartedly any company that utilised the internet in any form in its business plan contributing significantly to its revenue. The joke of the moment was if you had an "e" in front of your company name then the investors would start throwing money at you. No questions were asked, or perhaps not as many as would be if it were a "normal" company seeking investors' funds. It seemed at the time that the internet had ushered in an era where e-commerce companies could not go out of business even if they stretched the tried and tested rules that governed successful companies.

Unfortunately the cold hard reality of economics caught up with these companies. Despite the euphoria, a lot of these dot-com companies in reality were struggling to make any money and consequently their price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio which is what investors normally pay a great deal of attention to was "throbbing red" indicating danger. With any normal bricks-and-mortar company, such extreme distress signs would send investors cowering.

These e-commerce companies kept on asking for more and more funding from their investors just to keep afloat with the promise of some profit in the distant future. Investors finally started to ask some tough questions regarding these companies and the noun "no" started to replace the "yes" in their meetings. Finally, in March 2000, the speculative bubble finally "popped" taking many e-commerce companies down with it.

Amazon.com survived the bubble, but only just. In any case, it wasn't a typical internet company by being merely virtual like a lot of those companies that disappeared with the bubble. It owned more than some swanky office with unusual furniture. It stored and supplied physical goods so had to own warehouses. Amazon came to epitomise a company that balanced the new excitement of the internet with the boring but established discipline of a "bricks-and-mortar" company, the so called "clicks-and-mortar" company. Amazon only turned profitable in later half of 2001, long six years after it started trading.

Today, Amazon.com is one of the biggest companies in the world. In 2011, it reported revenue of 48 billion USD, from which net income was 631 million USD. The operations are truly global employing 69,000 people in total. In order to serve its markets better, Amazon now has local websites in major markets such as the UK (Amazon.co.uk), France (Amazon.fr), Germany (Amazon.de) etc.

Amazon has also expanded through various acquisitions. It is also innovative, setting the trend for the rest of the industry. One notable area is in the e-book reader category. The Kindle series of e-book readers are now as ubiquitous as Apple's iPad. Amazon also innovates in the web and cloud technology fields offering opportunities for suitable third parties to seamlessly connect to Amazon's vast inventory of goods.

Amazon through its regional websites offers fantastic opportunities for affiliates to start selling and making some serious money in return. Because Amazon offers almost everything under the sun, its appeal is mass market which makes potential sales easier than on other affiliate platforms. The Amazon brand has come a long way and is now synonymous with quality products you can trust.

Affiliates are one of the main reasons why Amazon is so successful. It is a truly symbiotic relationship where both parties prosper. Consider utilising Amazon as part of your online business which will help your quest in making money online.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

A lot of people spend a good chunk of their day online; some do it for work while others do it to relax and communicate with others. Millions of people have joined social networking sites while others have gone to blogging and putting up their own personal websites. But, did you know that in all the hours spent online from writing a blog post or updating a website you can also earn some money? Affiliate marketing is one way you can profit from your blog or your website.

So, what is affiliate marketing? To define it simply, affiliate marketing is when a business or brand pays an affiliate when a customer buys from the business due to the promotion of the latter. Meaning, if an affiliate site or your blog markets a brand and consumers buy it because of your marketing efforts, you then get paid by the brand. If you want to know more about what is affiliate marketing or you want to earn from this marketing style then you can join different affiliate programs offered online. There are a series of programs that you can sign up for like Empower Network. Known to be one of the biggest affiliate programs online, you can earn from $25 up to a whopping $4,625 per sale you make. In some ways affiliate marketing is often confused with other internet marketing schemes due to some overlapping qualities in its promotional methods. In various advertising methods like Pay-per-click, Search Engine Optimization, display advertising and e-mail marketing these are also used in affiliate programs, although what sets it aside is the use of product reviews on posts as well as promotions done by an affiliate site on the product or service offered by another independent business.

There are a variety of approaches how an affiliate program can help you earn for your site, like Empower Network they can help you generate a full percent of commission from sales. In this system of marketing there are different roles played for by different parties; the business/brand, you as a publisher and the customers. With this system there are also different levels of how you can earn. If the contract between you as publisher and the business you are promoting is based on a pay-per-click scheme whether or not your customer buys from the business, the fact alone that they have clicked an advertising then you as promoter already gained that commission.

If affiliate marketing is still a very vague concept to you yet you are interested to make money using this marketing strategy for your blog then it is wise to join a trusted affiliate program that you can find online. Like Empower Network, they will not only provide an upline for your website but before the program starts you will get extensive training. Through this you are not left alone to find your way in the dark and you are protected from online scams that will just rip you off with your money.

Some Pointers For Those Who Would Like To Learn Affiliate Marketing From Scratch

I have friends who want to learn affiliate marketing from scratch, but most of them still wonder where to get started. As a friend, I advise them that they should follow a proven system that works, rather than formulate their own method and hope it works. The reason is because if you are a newbie, I believe you will want to make money and earn commissions as soon as possible. Going around trying to figure out on a system will not get you sales quickly. In fact, you may end up frustrated, wandering and wondering what you need to do to succeed.

I am about to fill you in on the advice which I give my friends. Previously I was reluctant to share this with the public, but after much persuasion from my friends, I have decided that there are indeed real people who would want to become affiliate marketers, and they may be as lost as my friends were.

With that being said, let's get the ball rolling!

Write Down Your Goals

Can you imagine playing football without an end zone or basketball without a basket? The same concept is applicable here. You need to have a few goals in place, otherwise you will be wandering around and wondering what you want to achieve. There is also a reason why I say you need to write down your goals. Committing them to memory is not a good idea because as human beings, we are all prone to forgetting stuff. Write down your goals clearly and make sure you can see them every day. These goals should be from your heart and not some "it would be good to have" targets. Constantly remind yourself of your goals while you learn affiliate marketing.

Do Not Cram Your Mind

Many newbies make the mistake of wanting to learn everything at the start, thinking that the more knowledge they have, the more successful they will become. That, my friend, is not how it works. As mentioned earlier, if you want to learn affiliate marketing, I recommend you stick to one system or formula that is proven to work, and follow it exactly. There are people who buy course after course, hoping to learn from these courses and become a millionaire overnight, but truth be told, most of them end up getting information overload and giving up.

Get To Know Like-Minded People

I believe there are also other people like you who want to learn affiliate marketing. It would be good to get to know them since they share the same passions and aspirations. You can encourage each other to persevere and not give up. If you can, attend seminars conducted by well known speakers in the industry and while you are there, network with the other people who attended the event. Who knows, you could very well become their partners in future and work together on a project.

I hope you now have a better understanding of how you can learn affiliate marketing from scratch. You see, it really does not matter if you know absolutely nothing about it. We all have to start somewhere. What counts is the desire to learn while having your goals in place and mixing around with the right crowd.

If you would like to learn affiliate marketing in greater detail, I highly recommend this resource which has helped many people kick start their journey as an affiliate marketer. It can be found on http://www.guaranteedinternetincome.com/. Do check it out to learn affiliate marketing more extensively.

How And Why You Should Build Unique Affiliate Marketing Sites

It is not easy to establish yourself in the affiliate marketing world. But once you've done so, you will have greater rewards than you could have ever imagined. Your products and affiliate marketing sites will bring you the results you are looking for. Question is, how are you going to get them to do what you want them to do for you?

Maybe you are just getting started with affiliate marketing and you are promoting only one product, or maybe you have been in the game for a while now and you are marketing a number of products to increase your profits. In either case, the way you make use of your affiliate marketing sites is crucial to your success.

The best way to maximize your profits and gain more return on your investments is to build unique affiliate marketing sites. These sites should entice your visitors to focus all their attention on one particular product or niche. Below are some more reasons why you should build these unique sites and also how they should be designed.

Why should you build unique affiliate marketing sites?

1. To get your customers to focus on just one particular product.
Probably your visitors arrived on your site simply because they were searching for your particular product. Their intention is to get more information on your product, and considering the fact that customers today are very impatient, they wouldn't want to know anything else. If you were to put the description of a totally unrelated product next to the one they were searching for, they would probably get frustrated and leave your site immediately. A situation like that would hurt your profits in a big way.

If you spend time focusing on just one product, your customers will have the opportunity to know your product even more. Furthermore, it is very easy to maintain and establish these unique sites. When compared to the time and effort that went into creating them, these unique sites have the ability to bring in huge profits.

2. To get your customers to focus on a specific group of products.
There are times when customers are not satisfied with a certain product and so they want to find alternate options for it. If you are not in a position to provide them with an alternative, it would be very sad because you would lose out on these customers. Regardless of their preferences and particular needs, you will be able to seize this specific market if you were to group similar products together on one site.

However, there is one flaw with setting up affiliate marketing sites that features a certain group of products. They are much more complicated to create than a single product one. You have to put a lot of hard work into them and perhaps you might even find yourself spending money to hire someone else to do all the leg-work for you. That would require money that you don't want to spend but rather earn. Grouping products together on one site can also be fairly discouraging as it might take a while before they even start to generate any profits. Having said that, you can still go ahead and try it if you have the patience to create the site and then wait for the profits to start coming in. It is up to you really how you decide to build your unique affiliate marketing sites.

Listed below are three attributes that your sites should have.

It is not sufficient to know what type of affiliate marketing site to create. They need to have certain attributes to ensure that they bring in expected results, even if they cater to one product at a time. Your unique sites should have the following attributes to stimulate profits:

1. User-friendly: They should be easy enough for your customers to navigate. Include enough easy to reach links and buttons.

2. Well-formatted: The layout and format should be relevant to the product. i.e: Do not create a site that is meant for computers with a layout of sneakers and socks.

3. Organized: You unique affiliate marketing sites should be well organized. Place your links and buttons where they will be easy to locate but without interfering with everything else. Create different categories for your links and products. Your customers will be more inclined to learn more about your product and as a result they will be more interested to click on certain links and buy from you if your site is well organized and easy to navigate.

Many people today are getting involved in the affiliate marketing business, but many of them don't know how to set up their sites properly. By creating unique sites that features a specific product, you will find that you get more in return than to have a site that caters to products in different niches.

Promote Residual Affiliate Programs To Earn Additional Income

If you are planning to go online to make money selling products and promoting events and programs, you would do well also by becoming an affiliate marketer and promote residual affiliate programs to earn additional income.

You can become an affiliate marketer when you sign in to an affiliate program in order to promote a product and direct traffic to the merchant's website. If that effort converts into an action like an opt in, an email, or a purchase of the product or even giving a simple postal code, you can get compensation. In fact there are many ways of compensation terms; like percentages of commission, large commission payments, lifetime commissions and many other benefits.

With some affiliate products, you can even get lifetime commissions too. But although all these benefits can add up to a considerable online income, you can be even more profitable by considering the promotion of residual affiliate programs.

Even though usually, residual affiliate programs don't pay big percentage commissions for sales directed by the promoter to the merchant's website, it is a mistake not to use them to earn additional income. Do you think it is a correct decision to ignore these kinds of affiliate programs?

Well... for sure you would be leaving money on the table if you don't promote them. Why? Because with residual affiliate programs you would be getting paid ongoing and regular payments as opposed to just one time commission for an ordinary affiliate commission.

If one merchant pays you $55 for getting a customer buying his product and another gives you $5 for every single customer that subscribes to that product on a monthly basis, it is easy to see there is opportunity with this model to earn a lot of money too; you'll get paid for as long as that subscriber stays with the product, if this product is for example, some video making teaching course.

You can earn considerable income with the one time commission model of affiliate programs, but don't forget residual affiliate programs and your income will be much greater.

Affiliate marketing in general, as a business model, is great because it is so much cheaper to run and operate than an offline business model and much less risky as well since you are never likely to incur in great costs or need large sums of money or personnel to run your business. You can run your business online, with the use of a PC and working from your garden or in the kitchen, without the need for much space for inventories or maintenance of any kind.

Hardly any kind of customer-affiliate interaction is needed, since it is the merchant's website normally that takes care of the customer's needs. You as an affiliate, only need to promote de product, to guide the customer towards making the purchase and the rest is done by the merchant or product owner.

You can later go on to make your own products as well and get your own affiliates too to promote them. This will cost more time and effort, but the rewards will be much greater and of course well worth it. Your sales can be increased so much more with the help of your affiliates as well as with your expertise as a previous affiliate, still promoting other people's products and being a promoter of residual affiliate programs too.

Affiliate Marketing Programs Explained

Affiliate marketing programs need to be given a great deal of attention, because the success of any program depends on how well it's advertised. The more time you spend in promoting your products and services, the better your chances for success will be.

If your business isn't producing any profits you need to market it more. Because most affiliate marketers don't study their target market and don't analyze their website statistics, they have no idea what visitors want or where they're coming from. But it's actually easier than they think to market the kind of products and services that their target audience desires.

One of the most important aspects is to ensure that the products you market, are relevant to the content and theme of your website. You probably won't have a good conversion ratio if your website is about sports, and you're marketing pregnancy clothes. It'll be easier if you concentrate on one particular sport. You might want to promote golf, and promote golf clubs and other golf accessories for example.

It's important to promote only quality products from reputable merchants, if you intend on enjoying success in affiliate marketing. Promote products and services that you've used before and liked personally. It's just as important that your visitors be impressed by the merchant's website.

You've pre-sold the product to them, now the merchant's website must take it from there and close the sale for you. Use appropriate keywords (especially long-tail keyword phrases) that are equally effective as the main keyword. Affiliate marketing works only if you're able to drive heavily targeted traffic to your website.

Search engine optimization and using keyword rich quality content are absolutely essential. You can build links and leads by using promotional and informative newsletters, e-zines, submitting value-laden articles to article directories, utilizing viral videos, podcasts, RSS feeds and PPC ads.

You can also start a blog or join a forum related to the products that you promote. It's also a good idea to be a member of blogs that are related to your products. Ensure that all your posts have links pointing back to your website. Make sure you don't sound like an advertisement. Gain the trust of people by making unbiased and highly informative posts.

Once they recognize you as an expert, they'll trust the recommendations you make about the products you're promoting. Social networking websites have been used in affiliate marketing, and can be a great way to drive targeted traffic to your website. When Affiliate Marketing Is Like Buying a Used Car

Have you ever bought a used car?

I have and believe it or not I only had one bad experience. I've lost count of just how many new and used automobiles and trucks I've owned-but I was only burned once.

We were looking for what we thought might be something close to a luxury car... close, but not the real thing like a Cadillac or Mercedes. We found a car advertised by owner in our local newspaper. The young lady we talked to said the car actually belonged to her brother, and she was helping him sell it. It was 5 years old but only had 27,000 miles on it.

Let the buyer beware

We bought the car and within a month the water pump quit. After replacing that we had frequent over-heating problems. Next to go was the battery and it needed a costly tune up. One day while rummaging through the glove box I found an old North Carolina State Inspection report tucked away in the Owner's Manual. It showed that at a previous inspection, the car had over 150,000 miles on it.

Since we bought it from a private individual we had little recourse-plus she (and no doubt her brother) had moved out of the area.

"Let the buyer beware!"

Watch out for Internet Clunkers too

Back in 2009 I decided to take a shot at starting a home-based business to supplement my income. With absolutely no clue as to what was available, I searched online. On a website I had come to know and respect I found an ad for a home-business opportunity. The sales (pitch) page made affiliate marketing sound like a dream come true, so without further hesitation, I whipped out my VISA card and spent $47 for an immediately-downloaded Ebook. This Ebook explained that affiliate marketing requires no cash to get started. But reading it cover to cover left me with more questions than answers.

The first thing I could think of as I read through it was, "I just bought another 'Low-Mileage' used car.

As time passed and I succumbed to a couple more "Get Rich Quick." "Make $10,751.36 in just 30 days," offers and their useless Ebooks, it began to look like affiliate marketing is just one big low mileage car after another.

Listen to voices of experience

Those folks who have been affiliate marketers since back in the 1990s told me that over 95% of beginning marketers quit after less than a few months. Well DUH! Is it any wonder? But you know what? Here it is now 2012, and I've been at it now beginning my 4th year and I'm well past the pain of leaky water pumps and dead batteries.

The point I'm making here is that this concept of affiliate marketing is really based on sound business principles-if you run it like a business. The basics of getting started are quite simple and do not require a degree from the Wharton School of Business. And you can start a business like this on virtually no up-front cash.

Trial and Error

Granted, I depended on trial and error for well over my first year. And, yes I was often discouraged to the point that I considered, "Pulling the rip cord and bailing out."

Some very wise person once said, "If you fail to plan-you are planning to fail." Well... I was obviously without a plan-so I changed my tactics.

Tips Leading to Success in an Online Business

The best way to be successful is to study how others became successful. I studied, "Think and Grow Rich," by Napoleon Hill. Despite the fact that Mr. Hill published this all-time Best-Seller in 1937, its message is just as relevant now as it was 75 years ago.
Through hours of Internet research I found some of the top websites that get thousands of visitors month after month. Replication is the best form of flattery so my plan was to "copy" the work others had done before I came along. By copy I really mean to follow their lead by doing similar things without plagiarizing or duplicating them.
I began my online business using websites. I learned later that "blogs" are far more effective as business tools than websites. So One-by-one I scrapped my websites and constructed blogs.
I learned that for any online business to succeed, people searching the Internet need to be able to find it. This is where the search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing and others come into play. Continuing research gave me the knowledge of how to create blogs that would position my blogs close to or even ahead of some of my competitors-like having one of my blogs appear on the first page of the search engine results pages (SERPs).
To get recognized by the search engines, you must have a good understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Google and others can be your friend or enemy in this regard. Better to be a friend!Once a plan is in place, it requires frequent maintenance of your blog, or as in my case-multiple blogs. (At this writing I have about 70).

Have I mastered the secret for creating untold wealth as an Internet Marketer? NOPE! Not yet. You see I am not a quitter. I am determined to succeed. I have a plan to succeed, I have the tools to succeed.

Part of the "secret" of being a successful online business owner is to first believe in yourself!

My purpose with this article is to awaken the sleeping giant in just a few readers. And then I can begin to help them get not just some of the answers for the questions they may have at this moment. I want to give them all of the answers that my Trial and Error Approach to Internet Marketing has given to me. I have devoted one of my blogs to serve as a Beginner's Blogging Course. Affiliate Marketing Program

As everyone earning online knows, there are lucrative ways to earn cash on the internet. The cyberspace is like a bag of goods for those who know where to set their sights on. Affiliate marketing programs are one of the most coveted goods in the loot bag. A lot of personal website owners as well as merchant websites are turning to affiliate marketing to earn money and to advertise and spread the word about their products and services, accordingly.

To comprehend fully this method of marketing, you as a publisher can generate income if you provide either traffic, sales or leads for the merchant. In an affiliate marketing program, there are 3 sides to the equation; the merchant site running the affiliate program, you as publisher earning from it and the customers. At most times affiliate marketing is often overlapped with simple display advertising but affiliate marketing is extremely performance based, it follows a much complex tier of website activity. A merchant and an affiliate site can come into three different kinds of contract on how a publisher site can make money. From Pay-per-Click, Pay-per-Sale or Pay-per-Lead the income you earn will depend on whether your commission is based on a percentage or on a fixed rate. Empower Network known to be one of the leading affiliate marketing programs are famous for the amount of commission they give their affiliate sites. For each sale made, commissions can range from $25 to $4,625 to a point that Empower Network would even give out 100% commission.

With running your personal site, know that affiliate programs will also target those prospective publishers that are focused on a niche. Basically merchant sites will only consider you as a partner or affiliate if in ways they can see that your content has a sensible connection to whatever products they are promoting. These affiliate programs will also want to identify a target audience and that there is a greater probability that your readers will eventually click through their links.

Payments made on affiliate marketing program are done in two levels. First, you get your payments or commissions like in a network marketing scheme through the sales or through the people you direct to them. At the same time, some programs offer more flexibility to earn, if a customer had done repetitive transactions with the merchant site and that customer was referred from your site then you get commissions from every sale made.

Just be sure that the movement and the activity on your site are well administered and managed that everything is correctly taken accounted for. You want to be assured that whatever activity is made are paid for accordingly and through this your business relationship with the program provider is strengthened.

So, now that you know the basics of how affiliate marketing programs works, you can start earning money both online and offline on your spare time. You do not need to revolve your life and time for it to be successful, just like what Empower Network, it's all about running a business while having a life.

Affiliate Marketing: Tips and Tricks Part 1

Knowing how to succeed as an affiliate is very important to your online success. Most of us start out as affiliates, selling someone else's product for a commission.

In many ways affiliate marketing is the perfect online business, you don't have to create products, deal with customer service or answer pre-sales questions. As an affiliate you just promote and get paid.

Sounds good, right?

It is! This can be a wonderful way to earn money online!

But the fact remains that some 98% (or more) of affiliates never make a dime online and very few of the 2% who do succeed make a full time living.

This problem can be solved!

You can begin again today and find success as an affiliate marketer if you work at it and use conservative and proven methods.

Over the years of my own affiliate marketing efforts I have discovered nine keys to affiliate marketing success.

I use each one of these principles and share them freely with you in hopes they help you too.

In this short series I will share nine 'tricks of the trade', as well as a word or two about how you can put them into practice in your business life.

We will do that in three parts and so today we look at methods 1 - 3.

Remember, every super affiliate was where you are right now at one point.

Affiliate Tip #1 - Use Great Ad Copy

Most people are not great copywriters. That's completely understandable. While copywriting is something you might want to learn, it makes sense to model great copywriters until you get there.

Remember: You must never take someone's copy, be it an email or sales letter or other ad, and copy it word for word or steal their graphics. That's just wrong. Never infringe a copyright.

But you can model what they have done and make it your own. And believe me, it works!

Where do you find great ads to use as your model?

Watch the ezines you read. Look for repeat ads. If the ad runs over and over again it's a winner.Affiliate programs almost always offer pre-written ads you can use.Classic eBooks often contain great copy ideas.Social media - especially Twitter - is great for headline research. If you are on top marketers' lists you are getting lots of emails. Study them for good copy.

In each of these cases you will want to change what you find to fit you. My best advice today is to keep your ads short and create curiosity.

Affiliate Tip #2 - Promote Only GREAT Products

The key is to promote great products, things that help people and have stood the test of time.

It must meet these three standards:

The product works well and meets a real need.It pays you enough to cover marketing costs and provide a profitIt creates happy buyers.

Many affiliates miss the vital point of a product working well. When you believe in something you will promote it well and with all your heart, you will find ways to succeed promoting it.

When all you want is money you will be tempted to give up after the first unsuccessful attempt and jump to another product.

And that is a sure recipe for failure.

The reason I say it must pay enough is that paid advertising is the #1 way to promote affiliate products. So you have to earn enough to both pay your ad costs and keep some profits too.

Not hard to do if you know what to look for.

The reason happy buyers matters is that you are going to be able to follow up with these buyers and offer them more. If they are happy they will buy from your recommendation time and time again.

Affiliate Tip # 3 - Use An Ad Tracker

This is one of those areas in which almost all affiliate marketers could improve.

While there is no reason to go crazy tracking every little thing (you really can waste a lot of time here) you simply MUST track every ad to know if you have made or lost money.

Two of my favorite ad trackers are Hypertracker and LinkTrackr.

For perhaps the best information on the subject of ad tracking, visit my good friend Harvey Segal at www.ad-tracking.com.

One final word here if I may.

I strongly suggest avoiding all free link cloakers.

The spammers will ruin them all over time and your links will be at risk. And that's a risk you can't afford.

Well there you have my first three tips.

Here are three action steps you might want to take:

Choose the one product you want to promote mostGet a great ad written for that product, or write one if you preferGet your ad tracking squared away.

If you do these three things you will be prepared for the success that you want and deserve. In the next message I will share three more keys (as well as one advanced technique) to help you even more.

Until then, be well and don't ever give up. You are closer than you think.
